Please register your student in the grade they will enroll in for the 2022-23 school year.

Please note: This information is tentative and subject to change.

 

Any parent/student who registers during a time where they are not allowed to will be withdrawn from the class and refunded their registration cost minus a $75.00 false registration fee. They will then need to re-register at full cost on the appropriate day.  Full refunds will be granted up to May 13th @ midnight.  No refunds will be issued after May 13th @ midnight. 

 

Marching Band Fundamentals 

Grades 9-12 

This course is a recommended prerequisite for all new and returning music students (except for Percussion and Color Guard students, see Percussion & Color Guard Summer Sessions) interested in joining the award-winning SMHS 2022-2023 Titan Marching Band & Colorguard. The course will cover music and movement fundamentals in preparation for the Fall 2022 Marching Band season. Sectionals and extra practice will be at the discretion of each instrumental section. 

BAND CAMP (July 25-July 29 & August 1-5, from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m.) is separate from this course and is a mandatory requirement along with zero period Marching Band class (beginning of school through mid-November). If you do not participate in the Marching Band Fundamentals summer course, band camp is still mandatory; please contact Mr. Rob Folsom by email as soon as possible with your intent to join the Marching Band in the fall.

Percussion Summer Session 

Grades 9-12 

The Percussion Summer Session is in conjunction with Marching Band Fundamentals and is a recommended prerequisite for the SMHS 2022-2023 Fall and Winter Percussion and is part

of the Fall 2022 Titan Marching Band & Colorguard ensemble. Sectionals and extra practice will be at the discretion of each instrumental section.

Colorguard Summer Session 

Grades 9-12 

The Colorguard Summer Session is the recommended prerequisite for the SMHS 2022-2023 Fall and Winter Colorguard and is part of the Fall 2022 Titan Marching Band & Colorguard. Tryouts are TBA and expected towards the end of the 2021-2022 school year. Extra practice will be at the discretion of Colorguard student leadership.
