Please register your student in the grade they will enroll in for the 2023-24 school year.
$485 per Semester (3 weeks)
Please note: Summer 2023 schedule will post in March of 2023.
Any parent/student who registers during a time where they are not allowed to will be withdrawn from the class and refunded their registration cost minus a $75.00 false registration fee. They will then need to re-register at full cost on the appropriate day. Full refunds will be granted up to May 13th @ midnight. No refunds will be issued after May 13th @ midnight.
Advanced Dance
Instructor: Tracy Shen
Grades: 9-12
Spring Semester: June 21st to July 8th, 2022
Days & Times: Daily, 1:00pm to 4:00pm
Advanced Dance is a three week course. Advanced dancers must receive teacher approval to join. This is the highest level of dance offered. Previous dance training and experience is necessary. This course requires a high level of technique and includes rigorous dance technique, performance training and conditioning. Students will be involved in all aspects of choreography, production, performance and leadership. Dance is for enrichment only, and will not offer academic credit.
Beginning Dance
Instructor: Tracy Shen
Grades: 8-12
Fall Semester: May 31st to June 17th, 2022
Days & Times: Daily, 1:00pm to 4:00pm
The three week course is designed for beginning levels and includes a strenuous warm-up that develops proper body alignment, physical conditioning and dance technique. A dance vocabulary is acquired as well as an appreciation of dance as an art form. The dance styles we will focus on are: ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip-hop and musical theater. This course's objective is to provide students with the knowledge, application, and appreciation of dance and movement. Course content consists of: dance technique, choreography, improvisation, style, collaboration, and performance. The course will end with a final dance performance. Dance is for enrichment only, and will not offer academic credit.
Cheer: JV/Varsity

Days & Times: Monday & Wednesday 4:30-6:30pm, and Tuesday & Thursday 6:00- 8:00pm
Summer Camp for 2022-2023 San Marino High School Cheer students only. Conditioning, stunting and learning cheers will be conducted during camp.
Cross Country
Instructor: Alexis Kling
Grades: 6-12
Fall and Spring Semesters: May 31 - July 8, 2022
Days & Times: Daily, 6:30-7:45am
All students participating in this course will be learning about the fundamentals of distance running. Other than running, participants will also be doing routines such as strength, flexibility, and stretches that will have huge benefits to running faster and being overall fitter. This is a program for students of all levels, as they will be running from 10 to 45 miles per week. Students that are looking to participate in cross country during the school year are highly recommended to participate in this program, as it has been proven that members who are used to the training by summer will perform a lot better during competitions in the fall and so on. This course will also benefit members by getting to know all team members better, which has been a foundation to success in this program.

Strength and Conditioning: Monday and Wednesday from 2:00pm to 3:45pm
Practice: Monday through Thursday from 4:05pm to 6:30pm
This course provides instruction, training, and practice in the advanced techniques of football. All students will engage in an off-season program emphasizing instruction, skill development, strength training, and conditioning.
*Friday Practices: TBD based on possible 7 on 7 tournaments

Students enrolled in this section are required to attend both the Strength and Conditioning and Practice sessions.
Football for Rising 8th Graders & Freshmen: Strength and Conditioning and Practice Instructor: Will Torres

Students enrolled in this section will participate in a comprehensive 5 week strength and conditioning program intended to teach the fundamentals and techniques involved in strength training. The program will offer students a foundation for success as they prepare themselves for high school athletics in the upcoming years. Students enrolled in this section are required to attend both the Strength and Conditioning and Practice sessions.
Tennis

Grades: 6-12
Fall and Spring Semesters: May 31 - July 8, 2022
Monday through Thursday from 1:00pm to 4:00pm
Class will be for Intermediate through Advanced Level, please No Beginners. If you can Serve 8 consecutive serves, keep score and keep a rally of 10 consecutive hits over the net you are
considered an Intermediate level player. Advanced level players will be separated into different groups. They work on match play, drills preparing them for matchplay, working on accuracy and strategy. Footwork is emphasized with utmost importance. In addition, we will be working on doubles play and volleys.
Volleyball

Days & Times: Daily, 12:45-3:00pm
An all skill level course in place to help develop and/or maintain our athletes volleyball skills through the summer/off season. Areas of focus will include serving, passing, setting, and attacking at the fundamental and advanced levels. Here we will introduce certain strategies for both offense and defense to get us to an understanding of how live gameplay works. Throughout the course we’ll be able to incorporate mini games, scrimmages, and conditioning to get our athletes familiar with how the program works during the fall season. Our SMHS Girls Volleyball summer course’s overall goal will be to help prepare those interested in trying out and playing in the upcoming fall 2022/2023 Girls Volleyball season.
Requirements: athletic indoor shoes, volleyball attire, water

Our SMHS Volleyball summer course will be open to all students. Our Gym net system gives us access to boys, girls and co-ed net heights to accommodate the different levels of play.

Water Polo
Instructor: Robert Zirovich
Grades: 6-12
Fall and Spring Semesters: May 31 - July 8, 2022
Days & Times: Monday through Thursday from 1:00pm to 4:00pm
Student-Athletes enrolled in this class will have the opportunity to learn, exercise and develop their water polo skills. The class is directed by certified USA Water Polo Coach Robert Zirovich and his staff. Returning athletes will have fun mastering shooting, passing, & wrestling skills while developing their strategic quick thinking skills. Novice participants will learn the fundamentals and rules of the game. All participants must be able to swim. Competitive club swimmers and water polo players are encouraged to attend.
